Victoria and Austin get lost in a forest

This wedding was pretty unforgettable for so many reasons, mostly because Victoria and Austin along with their wedding party were absolute stunners! These high school sweethearts chose Lost in a Forest for both their ceremony and reception. What this meant for us was styling the space for the ceremony and then seamlessly transitioning the courtyard into a cocktail style reception.

Our styling brief from Victoria was modern, minimal and romantic with classic whites, incorporating her DIY painted vases and self-sourced styling items. The contrast was striking against the lush Adelaide Hills backdrop. White lanterns defined the outdoor space and provided warm, romantic lighting throughout the night.

Not only were the couple blessed with easing Covid restrictions, but the happy couple celebrated with the warm Autumn sun. It was the perfect weekend for their nearest and dearest to make the little trip up the freeway to Uraidla where Lost in a Forest is beautifully located, a repurposed 1892 church, best known for their artisanal pizzas.

Final words from the bride

"Kendie, you absolutely knocked it out of the park! I can't believe how beautiful you made everything look and how smoothly it ran. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
